• Q: How are the Zones and pairings Established?
• A:  An expert panel, not from NC and NOT on the Committee will set up  zones (like the NCAA BasketBall Tournament).  16 different pairs, 4 pairs in each zone.

Q:  Why are you having a Number One Seed in each Zone?

A:  We are establishing a Number One Seed in each Zone i the event of a TIE!

Q:  Can I NOMINATE a RE Blog to be in the competition that is not mine, but I really, really like.

A: Yes, as long as that person is coming to REBarCampRDU!  Nominate a Blog HERE! (or leave us a comment on who we should be contacting to make sure they sign up!)

Q:  Do you have to submit all posts from the same blog?

A:  NO!

Q:  What does “Humor-ish” Mean? Are we talking belly laugh evoking post to qualify?

A:  Light Hearted is what we are looking for.  Could be a Photo Blog Post of something cute, a story about your children (or your neighbor’s kids)… we’re just looking for something that is not “dry” statistical real estate jargon.

Q:  Can I encourage people who are not attending REBarCampRDU to vote for my blogs posts?

A:  Yes!

Q: Do I have to submit posts that have been recently done, or can I submit older, moldy posts?

A:  You can submit any post that YOU did.  We are not accepting material that has been produced by others for you.

Q:  Can I vote on my own posts?

A:  Yes! You can use any legal and ethical means at your disposal to win the Blog Brawl, the tournament rounds are limited to one vote per IP address.

Q:  What happens if I register for REBarCampRDU, Enter the Contest, and then can’t come?

A:  Honest Answer is you better have a Doctor’s Excuse.  This contest is for those attending REBarCampRDU. If you compete in this contest, we are expecting you to show up.  If you don’t – bad bad MoJo will be yours for a long, long time.  No Fame, No Glory, No Cash, No “Surprise” Winnings… We are giving away a Trip to Inman, an Ipad, an HD Video Camera… and some other “Secret” prizes!  Everyone who enters will be a Winner!
